Our Story

Known as one of the premier off-premises full-service caterers in Memphis, Just In Thyme Foods has established a reputation for exceptional food, creative presentations and superior service. In 1994, Chef-Proprietor Nancy Fisher started the company to help a ‘non-foodie’ friend out by preparing food for her husband’s business gatherings. The word got out, and  Just In Thyme Foods soon became a thriving part of the Memphis food scene.

Just in Thyme Foods met a growing demand in the area by providing high-quality catering services to friends and businesses in town — customers who desired exceptional food for Special Events and Weddings. She expanded the business to include a weekly Home Meal Replacement Program.  

Nancy soon developed a reputation for turning the high-end customer’s vision into reality.

Overseeing the in-house kitchen and bakery, Nancy works with her grillmaster husband, Chuck, who also manages sales and operations.  Additionally, they employ a talented team of sous chefs and food preparers who create an exceptional variety of hors d’oeuvres, entrees, side dishes and desserts. Just In Thyme Foods employs experienced, trustworthy and reliable servers and bartenders who contribute to your event’s success.

Attuned to changing tastes and trends, Just In Thyme Foods offers new and innovative dishes along with more traditional, tried-and-true fare. All of our food is prepared from the freshest ingredients chosen from specialty purveyors around town.
